Publication day is September 2nd for Progress Notes, my first novel!
I still feel like a newbie in this world, but I think what that means is that people who pre-ordered
it on Amazon will get it then, and I’m excited and terrified that people will be reading it, but
mostly excited to have it finally going out into the world.
If you’ve read Progress Notes and liked it, or if you just want to be supportive anyway, here are
some things you can do (if you have time and are so inclined) to help it succeed:
- Post a review on Amazon, with a few sentences of detail saying why you liked it.
- Recommend to your friends that they read it – both in person and on social media. (If you
know my real name, remember to only use the pen name when you do this). - Mention it at a local bookstore or library. They won’t automatically stock it unless there seems
to be ‘demand,’ meaning people are asking for it to be there. - (This is my favorite one). If you have an extra copy, leave it subversively in a Little Free
LIbrary or one of those shared book bins at an airport or a community center. If other people
read it, they might inspire others to buy it.
Even if you don’t have time to do any of the above, I appreciate your stopping by this page and
(hopefully) reading the book!
Sincerely,
Kate
